Quantity Surveyor

Norfolk

We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor for the Norfolk area

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understanding the Contract, and administering during the course of the Project duration, with particular emphasis on:
  • Schedule Management including Extension of Time and Liquidated Damages
  • Managing any Subcontracts required under the Contract
  • Manage correspondence to the Customer including review of any Contract Amendments
  • Manage Cash flow and monthly Valuations / invoicing
  • Provide Commercial and Contractual advice to the Project Manager and Head of   Commercial and Risk
  • Ensure Risk management techniques are applied on the Project, and manage Project Risk Register
  • Evaluation and settlement of any Claims

Qualifications, Education Requirements & Key Competencies:

  • Ideally be qualified at degree level in Quantity Surveying with membership of professional institution e.g. RICS, with a minimum 10 years experience in Quantity Surveying in the Renewables, power, or Oil & Gas industries.
